About

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I specialize in helping individuals who are struggling with challenging life circumstances. My focus is on understanding how you make sense of your experiences, what is important to you, and how you want to live your life. My approach is a combination of supportive, challenging, empathic, and direct to facilitate growth and change throughout your life journey in discovering your most authentic self. It is an absolute privilege to get the opportunity to support and challenge my clients to move towards finding inner resources to better cope with life challenges.

My clinical approach is centered on the client’s needs, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and LGBTQ-affirmative. I offer a warm and holistic approach that is strength-based and action-oriented: grounded in narrative therapy, person-centered therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness based cognitive therapy.

I aim to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore and grow, be vulnerable and experience change, and honor connection. My goal is to collaborate with you and help you make positive changes at any stage of your journey.

My modalities include: Person-Centered, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Culturally Responsive Care, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).
