If you are struggling with stress and feeling overwhelmed, you are not alone. We all need help and support at different times in our lives, and it takes courage to begin this process. I am happy that you are taking this step toward living life on your terms. I look forward to providing you with the support, guidance, and motivation you need to overcome obstacles and thrive. Authenticity and compassion are important to me, I believe in cultural humility and my approach will ensure your cultural values and beliefs are always respected and incorporated into our therapeutic journey. My goal is to create an environment where you feel seen, heard and safe enough to share your deepest concerns. I can not only empathize with your struggles but have been through my own. This allows me to truly understand how difficult and rewarding it can be to overcome them.
My personal counseling style is very conversational, empathic, non-judgmental and individualized. I endeavor to establish a quick but strong rapport with you in order for trust and progress to be made. I utilize a variety of theoretical perspectives depending upon your needs and counseling expectations. I most often rely upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions-Based Therapy, and Mindfulness to assist my clients in making progress toward their goal(s). Together, we can tackle a wide range of issues and challenges, from anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, boundaries, confidence, motivation, and the pursuit of personal growth. I would be honoured to accompany you on your journey to finding your inner resilience and making positive changes to cope with the challenges that life throws your way!
