Therapy is one of the best decisions you can make for yourself but
it can feel nerve wracking. I want to make therapy comfortable and relaxing for
everyone from the beginning. I want to achieve a strong therapeutic relationship
by getting to know more about you in our first session. I use a warm, empathetic
and non-judgmental approach in meeting where you are today and guiding where
you want to go. My goal is to provide a safe space in which you feel comfortable
to speak about your concerns, issues and goals. Understanding your core values,
needs, wants, and goals will help bring out the best version of YOU!

My main approaches are Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy although I
derive from other modalities based on the client's goals and needs. CBT is an evidence-
based approach that helps clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
are interconnected. Psychodynamic therapy aims to uncover emotions, thoughts, beliefs
and early life experiences that may affect the person’s current relationships and worldview.
​​I challenge clients to explore the root cause of their symptoms, gaining new awareness
about their emotional and relationship patterns. I provide a safe space for clients to feel
heard and work on themselves during the session. I motivate clients to implement coping
skills and techniques they have learned in session to utilize throughout their life. My main
goal for clients are to guide them towards a fulfilling journey to present the best version of
themselves! Therapy is an experience that may be different for each person but it is
curated to your issues and goals which will be discussed during our first consultation call.

My modalities include: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Psychoanalytic, Culturally-Responsive Care, Mindfulness Based Therapy, and Religiously Integrated Psychotherapy (Islam).
