Sana Chaudhry

Clinical Director

MPE, MACP, Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying

I became a therapist because, just like you, I am human and have had my fair share of battles. It took a long time for me to get to where I am today. I recognize that in moments of hopelessness, it is hard to find determination, that depression can be scary, that anxiety can be overwhelming, and that traumatic experiences can leave one feeling exhausted. I see the stigma associated with mental health and going to therapy.  For this reason, I know how crucial it is to provide therapy that is client-centered, empathetic, and unique to each person’s needs, is crucial.  Additionally, I have struggled with maternal mental health and reproductive health, and acknowledge the dire need for mental health services in these areas.

While drawing from various modalities, I ensure that my therapy approach is integrative, client-centered, and that treatment is tailored to your specific needs. My approach to therapy includes providing my clients with psychoeducation, viewing the mind and body connection, and exploring how our thoughts, beliefs, and feelings can impact our physical health, and similarly, how physical or social factors can affect our mental and emotional state.

I hope to accompany you on your journey, whether it is a process of self-understanding, self-exploration, managing changes in life, or simply just needing a safe space to gather your thoughts and feel empowered. Having been a client myself, and a therapist later, the process of healing can be a rewarding experience for both, the client and the therapist. I want to walk alongside you in this journey. I want you to feel heard, relevant, connected, and valued. Our lives can be full of meaning and purpose - we just have to find it!
